2021 Kia Stinger

The 2021 Kia Stinger comes in four well-equipped trim levels, which are the GT-Line, GT, GT1, and GT2. Exterior features on the base GT-Line include keyless entry and ignition, black and chrome accents, functional side vents, heated power-folding side mirrors with integrated LED turn signal indicators, a sunroof with a power sunshade, 18-inch alloy wheels, and automatic projector-beam headlights. The GT adds LED headlights and 19-inch wheels, while a limited-slip rear differential comes standard with rear-wheel drive and torque vectoring is paired with all-wheel drive. Step up to the GT1 to get auto-dimming side mirrors, automatic windshield wipers, and adaptive suspension dampers that boost the ride handling and comfort. With the GT2, features include adaptive headlights that move with the steering wheel for improved illumination around curves, a smart power-operated trunk, and a set of summer tires.

The base GT-Line trim receives its power from a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 260 pound-feet of torque and 255 horsepower. The other three trims feature a more powerful 3.3-liter turbocharged V-6 that makes 376 pound-feet of torque and 365 horsepower. Both engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels for sportier handling. However, all trim levels are available with all-wheel drive as an upgrade.

The 2021 Stinger is a unique model in the segment. It's not a typical sedan, as it's equipped with sporty handling and power elements that make it more fun to drive. In speed testing, a model equipped with the V-6 engine went from zero to 60 mph in just five seconds. The Stinger is also larger than other sedans, but it handles well and responds quickly to steering wheel inputs, requiring moderate effort.

Cabin features of the GT-Line trim include leather upholstery, heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. On the tech side, it also includes a six-speaker sound system, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, a wireless charging pad, and a 7-inch touch screen. An available package bundles an 8-inch touch screen, a power passenger seat, navigation, and a premium 15-speaker sound system. The GT adds a nine-speaker sound system, a power-adjustable passenger seat, and ambient interior lighting. With the GT1, features include a power-adjustable steering wheel, ventilated front seats, the 8-inch touch screen, premium audio system, and navigation from the optional GT-Line package, and driver's seat memory settings. At the top of the lineup, the GT2 has adjustable driver's seat thigh extension and bolsters, heated rear seats, premium leather upholstery, and enhanced lumbar support for the front seats.

Every 2021 Kia Stinger features blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, stability and traction control, advanced air bags throughout both rows of seating, and lane-change assist. Additional features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, lane departure mitigation, a head-up display, and a 360-degree camera system.
