Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Kia EV6 comes in three trims levels: the Wind, GT-Line, and GT. The exterior styling is brilliantly designed, combining clean, modern lines with sleek curves. LED headlights, tail lights, and daytime running lights are standard on all EV6 trims, and you also get a rear spoiler, automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a smart power tailgate. The GT-Line and GT trims come with a sunroof and automatically extending flush door handles that match your preferred paint color.
Engine (Power)
The 2023 Kia EV6 doesn't have a traditional combustion engine. Instead, it boasts an emissions-free permanent magnet AC synchronous motor powered by a lithium-ion battery. Both the Wind and GT-Line are available in rear-wheel drive and dual motor e-all-wheel-drive (e-AWD) configurations, while the GT is only available in the e-AWD configuration.
It's become common knowledge that electric cars can pack a lot more power in a smaller package, and the EV6 proves the point superbly. When equipped with the rear-wheel-drive configuration, the 2023 EV6's motor can generate 225 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Upgraded to the dual motors on the Wind and GT-Line trims, those numbers jump to 320 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque. And the GT offers even more impressive power, producing a stunning 576 horsepower and 545 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The 2023 Kia EV6 GT is a beast when it comes to acceleration, going from zero to 60 in an impressive 3.4 seconds. No matter what trim you choose, you'll enjoy sprightly acceleration speeds, responsive steering, and a road gripping stability made possible by the EV6's low center of gravity.
Charging performance and driving range are also impressive. The EV6 Wind and GT-Line rear-wheel-drive trims can achieve an EPA-estimated range of 310 miles. And when connected to a 350 kW DC fast charger, the EV6's charging system can take your battery from 10% to 80% in as little as 18 minutes.
Interior
The interior of the 2023 Kia EV6 offers seating for up to five people, upholstered in vegan leather trim on the Wind or vegan leather and suede trim on the GT-Line. The GT features a more futuristic black suede with neon-accented seat trim. The EV6 also features several standard convenience features, including a driver's seat and outside mirror integrated memory system, heated and ventilated front seats, and 60/40 split-folding rear seat backs. Its technology includes a Wi-Fi hotspot, several USB ports, and 12.3-inch dual panoramic displays that are Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible.
Safety Features
Kia strived to make the 2023 EV6 as safe to drive as it is fun, which is why they included several standard driver assistance features. To name just a few, you'll get forward collision-avoidance assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, driver attention warning with leading vehicle departure alert, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, and smart cruise control with Stop & Go all standard on any trim level.
