You can get the 2023 Kia Niro in five trims: LX, EX, EX Touring, SX, and SX Touring. On the LX, you get a chrome window surround, a matte black rear spoiler, and projector beam headlights. The EX adds roof rails, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and power-adjustable exterior mirrors with integrated LED turn signals. All five trims of the 2023 Kia Niro run off the same engine. You get a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor to give you a driving range between 479 and 588 miles per tankful. You get a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for a seamless ride. This engine delivers 139 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque with regenerative braking returning some of the lost power to the electric motor to be used again.
