Performance
The Sorento lineup's base engine teams up with an eight-speed automatic transmission and the turbocharged engine pairs with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Both systems improve engine response while seamlessly shifting through gears for precise acceleration and straightforward handling. If you go with an AWD model, you can take advantage of a torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system that distributes torque across all four wheels for optimal traction on wet roads, snow-covered surfaces, and rocky terrain. Other models in the lineup can be equipped with front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
Interior
The 2023 Sorrento is available with your choice of a six-seater cabin featuring second-row captain's chairs or a seven-seater cabin with second- and third-row bench seats.
