The 2027 Telluride is a complete redesign, the first all-new Telluride since the model debuted for 2020. Kia skipped the 2026 model year and moved straight to this second generation. The biggest change is under the hood: the long-running 3.8L V6 is gone, replaced by a 2.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder with 274 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 49 lb-ft over the old engine.
The new Telluride is also bigger, stretching 2.3 inches longer on a wheelbase nearly 3 inches longer than before, which opens up more room in the 2nd and 3rd rows. A redesigned, more rugged X-Pro trim and a more luxurious cabin round out the update. A Telluride Hybrid is offered for the first time as well, covered on its own page.
