The 2024 Sorento Hybrid has two trim level options: the EX and the SX-P. The base EX model is available with an FWD or AWD drivetrain, while the SX-P model is only available with an AWD drivetrain. The combined fuel economy for the EX FWD is 37 MPG, while the AWD trims have a combined fuel efficiency of 34 MPG.
All trims have a 1.6-liter engine that produces 177 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, which is matched with an electric motor that generates 59 horsepower and 194 lb-ft of torque. The combined output of this hybrid powertrain is 227 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Idle stop-and-go engine technology enhances the fuel efficiency of the hybrid powertrain.
Safety
Each 2024 Sorento Hybrid model comes with driver assistance technology such as blind spot collision avoidance with parallel exit, which reduces the risk of an accident when exiting a parallel parking spot. Lane-keeping assist, which provides moderate steering support, is also standard on all trims.
EX
The EX model is equipped with LED fog lights, LED multi-reflection headlights, and LED positioning headlights that activate when the car is parked so you can still see the area ahead of your vehicle. This trim has perforated leather seating material and an incredibly comfortable 14-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and thigh extension. The front seats have three-stage heating and ventilation. The second and third-row seats each have a 50/50 folding capability. Dual-zone climate control is also standard for this model.
