1. Two Available Engine Configurations
Most trim levels of the 2024 K5 are powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, achieves 180 horsepower and 195 pounds of torque. GT models, on the other hand, offer a 2.5-liter turbocharged powertrain that offers 290 horsepower and 311 pounds of torque. Although front-wheel drive is standard, AWD is available in the GT K5s.
When it comes to acceleration, the base K5 can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in about eight seconds, while GT models can make the same run in less than six. In terms of fuel consumption, models equipped with the 1.6-liter engine boast EPA ratings of 27 miles per gallon in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. Those powered by the 2.5-liter powertrain, on the other hand, achieve 24 mpg and 32 mpg, respectively.
2. A Spacious and High-Tech Interior
Featuring stylish wood trims on the dashboard and in the doors, a sophisticated look, and a clever layout, the inside of the 2024 K5 is just as attractive as its exterior.
