A Kia Forte driving on the road

Sharp styling, lots of standard features, and a roomy interior make the 2024 Kia Forte one of the best wallet-friendly compact sedans. Five trim levels, including a sporty manual, deliver the smooth handling and driving excitement we’ve come to expect from Kia’s city cars.

LX

Kia equips the 2024 Forte’s base model with a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine that delivers 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. The engine pairs with an intelligent variable transmission and three drive modes, enabling drivers to adjust performance while navigating city streets or driving across the Interstate.

The LX’s sporty exterior, offered in three colors, matches the Black woven cloth seat trims in the roomy interior. This model provides plenty of comfort for all passengers, ample cargo space, and numerous standard driver-assist features, such as lane keeping and lane following assistance, forward collision-avoidance assistance with pedestrian detection, and driver attention warning.

LXS

The LXS trim boasts the same engine and performance as the LX, but it comes with more standard and optional features. One of the main highlights is the bountiful choice of exterior colors. Drivers can pick from seven options, including bold hues like Fire Orange, Currant Red, and Deep Sea Blue. Another highlight is the 60/40 split-folding rear seat that allows you to increase the cargo area.

An additional 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster displays all essential driving information, including fuel economy and the estimated range of remaining fuel.

GT-Line

The GT-Line model marks the transition from the entry to the sport trims of the 2024 Forte. Its main highlight is the GT body styling with a rear spoiler and Gloss Black side view mirrors. This trim is also equipped with LED daytime running lights and LED taillights as standard, and it has a sharkfin antenna. Standard interior upgrades include Black cloth and SynTex seat trims with gray stitching and a 10.25-inch touchscreen display with navigation.

GT

The sports model of the 2024 Forte comes with a 201-horsepower engine, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters, and sport-tuned dual exhaust. All these specs enhance the vehicle’s performance, boosting the acceleration and top speed and improving the vehicle’s balance and handling.

GT Manual

The GT Manual replaces the automatic transmission found on the GT with a 6-speed manual transmission to give drivers ultimate control over the ride. As the range-topper, this model also boasts many premium features as standard, including a sunroof, heated front seats, LED interior lighting, and SynTex seat trims.
