The 2024 Kia K5 is an attractive mid-size sedan with a generous number of standard features and a lot of charm. Its spacious cargo area, high-tech interior, child safety features, and adjustable seating make it a versatile vehicle for a family with varying and evolving needs.

1. Baby and Child Safety Features

The Kia K5 Has a LATCH system, so you can easily secure any child seat into the car, as the Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children attachment system is universal. As your little one grows, you’ll enjoy knowing there are child-safety door locks in the rear, allowing you to enjoy some peace of mind in knowing that your kids can’t open the doors while you’re driving.

2. Highly Adjustable Front Seats

Families with multiple drivers will enjoy the versatility that the front seats offer, as each driver and front-seat passenger can adjust the seat to their liking. The base trim has a standard 6-way manual driver seat, and all of the trims have a 6-way manual passenger seat as standard.

The standard driver seat on the GT-Line FWD and up is a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat with power lumbar adjustment that moves in two directions. A 10-way power-adjustable passenger seat with 2-way power lumbar is available on the top two trims.

3. Lots of Interior Tech

You’ll never be out of the loop with the standard 8-inch center touchscreen display on the base trim or the 10.25-inch touchscreen display with navigation on all of the other trims of this car. There’s also a 4.2-inch instrument display on all trims.

Being able to see your driving information on the instrument display and access infotainment features through the center screen means you’ll never be out of touch with the outside world. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard on the infotainment system, and there are lots of USB charging ports in the car, so your devices can stay charged up.

4. Smart Trunk

When you head out to the car with your hands full of luggage, it can be really annoying to have to put everything down on the ground so you can open the trunk. With the Smart Trunk that’s standard on all trims, you won’t have to face this issue. As long as you’re holding your Smart Key when you stand behind the trunk, then the trunk will open up for you by itself.

5. Spacious Cargo Area

Speaking of the trunk, you’ll find plenty of room inside yours for your everyday essentials. There are 16 cubic feet you can fill up with all of your bags, a stroller, school stuff for your kids, and anything else that you need to take with you anywhere you go.
