The ’23 Forte hits the street with two available powertrain options. The first powertrain is a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that delivers 147 horsepower. The second available engine is the more powerful of the two. This turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder powertrain delivers an incredible 201 horsepower with a snappy throttle response and a continuously variable automatic transmission.
New in 2023
Kia has removed the GT technology package from the ’23 Forte GT models. This package, including the FCA fusion driver assistance technology, is now a standard set of equipment on all Forte GT models that are equipped with the dual-clutch automatic transmission. This makes for an exceptional car with fantastic handling and throttle response.
Interior
The interior of the ’23 Forte features a minimalist design combined with premium, high-quality materials that feel luxurious under your fingertips. The back seat boasts plenty of head, shoulder, and leg room for adults and kids alike. Dual-zone automatic climate control is available and keeps passengers in the front and back seats comfortable.

In addition, this infotainment system includes Bluetooth capabilities as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. However, if you opt for a GT-line or GT trim, this screen jumps to a 10.3-inch display with in-dash navigation.
Every model of the ’23 Forte from Kia includes a 4.2-inch multicolor digital display between your gauges. This allows you to access the vehicle’s information and easily track your alerts. Additionally, every ’23 Forte can be equipped with an available wireless smartphone charging pad that keeps your cord clutter to a minimum.
