From Chinese food to Japanese food, there are several Asian restaurants within driving distance of Butler, PA. If you’re looking for a savory lunch or dinner, then you will want to hop in your 2022 Kia Forte LXS and check out some of these great restaurants.

1. Dragon Chinese Restaurant and Sushi Bar

Dragon Chinese Restaurant and Sushi Bar offers a full selection of Asian cuisine from China and Japan. For the Chinese menu, options such as ma po tofu, kung pao chicken, Hunan-style chicken, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour shrimp, and moo shu pork are popular. Young chow fried rice, vegetable lo mein, and Singapore-style rice noodle are also local favorites.

The Japanese menu includes common sushi rolls, as well as platters that include a combination of sushi rolls and sashimi à la carte. Other Japanese entrées include beef, chicken, shrimp, or salmon teriyaki, and several tempura options. The dessert menu is even Asian-inspired with ice cream flavors such as red bean, green tea, and mango.

2. Tewada Thai Restaurant

Thai food is often a bit spicier than other Asian cuisines, so if you want a hint of heat with your meal, then Tewada Thai Restaurant is a perfect choice. Some of the best items on the menu include steamed or fried pork dumplings, Thai samosas, curry fried rice, Tom Yum soup made with lemongrass and Thai herbs, and duck noodle soup.

Of course, no Thai menu is complete without a wide selection of noodle dishes, including pad Thai, pad see-ew with black soy sauce, and zabb noodles served with fried chicken. Tewada Thai Restaurant also has Chef specials, such as Tamarind duck, Amazing Chicken, and Chicken Paradise. Diners can ask for the spice level of their food to be adjusted to taste.

3. China One

China One is a local favorite thanks to its short-and-sweet lunch and dinner menu. Although not as extensive as other restaurants in the area, this specialized menu is available all day. Some highlights include the lunch special, which includes vegetable fried rice and egg rolls, as well as special combination plates, diet dishes, and the Chef’s special of the day.

4. Mico’s Kitchen

Mico’s Kitchen is a fine-dining experience. The menu is sophisticated and features dishes from major East Asian countries, including China, Korea, and Japan. Appetizers such as fried chicken katsu, scallion pancakes, and seaweed salad can start your meal with dishes you won’t find at other restaurants.

The entrée menu includes kimchi with beef udon soup, orange chicken over rice, seafood tofu stew, and a choice of vegetable, beef, and chicken hot pot for larger dining parties. Mico’s Kitchen also has bubble tea, Thai iced tea, Vietnamese-style coffee, and mochi ice cream, which is ice cream wrapped in sweet rice dough.

Whether you’re in the mood for a Chinese-style buffet or you want to be a little more adventurous with Thai or Korean food, there are plenty of restaurants in the Butler area to choose from. After your meal, be sure to drop by Mike Kelly Kia to take advantage of service specials for your Kia.
