1. Performance Engine
The powertrain for the Telluride is engineered with off-road and suburban performance in mind. All trim levels of the 2024 Telluride have a 3.8-liter V6 engine, which produces 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission, selectable drive modes, and torque vectoring cornering control are also standard.
All-wheel drive with a center locking differential and a snow drive mode is standard for the EX X-Line, SX X-Pro, SX X-Line, SX Prestige, SX Prestige X-Line, and SX Prestige X-Pro.
2. Kia Drive Wise
Each of the 2024 Telluride models has driver assistance technology such as rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, and navigation-based smart cruise control. SX and above trim have blind spot collision warning with parallel exit as a standard feature. The LX, S, EX, and EX X-Line trims have forward collision avoidance with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction turning detection.
3. Seating
The LX and EX trims can both seat up to eight passengers, while the other Telluride trims can seat seven passengers. Heated and ventilated front seats are standard on the EX and above trim levels, while heated front seats are standard for the S trim. The LX and EX have 60/40 folding second-row seats, while the other trims have 50/50 folding second-row seats. All trims have 60/40 split-folding and reclining third-row seats.
4. Sunroof
Some Telluride models have a luxurious touch with single or dual sunroofs. The EX and EX-Line trims have a tilting and sliding sunroof, while all the SX trims have dual sunroofs. The second sunroof is fixed over the second-row seat.
5. Infotainment
All Telluride trims have a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with navigation and compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SX trims all come with a premium 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. The LX through EX X-Line trims have a 4.2-inch instrument display, while the SX through SX Prestige X-Pro trims have a 12.3-inch instrument display. The SX Prestige trims all have a 10-inch HUD.
6. Exterior Colors
Standard exterior colors for all trims are Gravity Gray, Ebony Black, Everlasting Silver, and Glacial White Pearl. The S, EX, SX, and SX Prestige add Dark Moss, Midnight Lake Blue, and Dawning Red as color options. The EX X-Line, SX X-Pro, SX X-Line, SX Prestige X-Line, and SX Prestige X-Pro offer Jungle Green and Wolf Gray as well.
